Horizontal Directional Drilling

Horizontal Directional Drilling is a process where a pilot hole is drilled between two points along a planned route using a guided and steerable drill stem. This is a highly versatile technique that enables the safe installation of Utilities, Telecommunications, Power Cable Conduits, Water Lines, Sewer Lines, Gas Lines, Oil Lines, Product Pipelines, and Environmental Remediation Casings.

It is used for crossing waterways, roadways, shore approaches, congested areas, environmentally sensitive areas; often a preferred method because it causes the minimum impact on society.

Horizontal Directional Rock Drilling

HDRD is a low impact alternative to conventional excavation. In some circumstances HDRD may be the only solution. Our industry experience will bring valuable knowledge to your project and help you find a solution to your installation problem.

Vacuum
Excavation / HyrdoVac

Using high-pressure water, vacuum excavation is the safest, most convenient and environmentally friendly way to get a true visual location on underground utilities without the use of traditional digging/trenching machinery.

Vacuum Excavation (Hydrovac) minimises the risk of damaging underground services, which will cost time and money to repair!

Pit & Pipe

Pit and Pipe construction is the installation of conduits and pipes through a series of pits and are required in order to connect telecommunications to your home, building or estate.

HDD.COM provide a comprehensive Pit and Pipe installation service including trenching and labour to carry out your task/project requirements.

Cable Hauling

Our crews are experienced in Hauling Telecommunications and Electrical Services Cabling through Pit and Duct Conduit Networks to ensure damage to existing services is prevented. We also preform conduct proving exercises on existing conduits to ensure that new cabling can be installed via mandrel testing of the conduit capacity.

If in the event conduits are blocked, then we can mobilise one of our Vacuum Excavation units to undertake blockage clearing and repairs
